Jack, thanks for a great day!!!
My only regret is missing the group photo op since the phone was glued to my ear most of the day.
I suppose I could have had more track time too... to apply the lessons learned from Coby. A lot to absorb at Buttonwillow, as it is a complicated track to drive well. Next time I'm sure will be even more fun.
Watching that CGT in action is priceless...

There's no meat to this thread. Besides pics and thank you's, what we wanna know is how did the CGT perform wrt to the rest of the field (i.e., TTs, GT2/3, Z8).
Did it just sounds awesome or did it lap everything else?
Did it live up to its reputation?

It sounded awesome! Some of the others got a ride in it, but I only saw it once on the track, it caught me & the Z8, which I was filming from my GT3, on our cool down lap. It sounded great as it went by. Our instructor of the day drove it a bit, but he said he prefered the GT2 to the CGT as a driving machine, but also said that could just be because he knew the 911 so well, and felt more comfortable in it.
My guess is that the car would shine more at a more open circuit. BW has lots of almost too tight & too slow bits, but at Laguna or Willow it would be more running at it's optimal design speeds, and be faster than anything else out there.
I'd like to hear what the 2 Ferrari owners thought of it, as they are driving cars of a more similar basic layout. (mid-engined race bred etc)
