Suggestions on this GT3 purchase
07 with 12/06 inservice date, 20k mi one owner car, highway miles, not tracked with clean ppi by seller. No sheetmetal work, supposedly good maintanence. Has Bi-xenons, sport chrono, and full leather. There are a few scrapes on front diffuser, a small smudge on clear bra with yellowing of clear bra, and a 2in scrape on one rim edge. Told the latter could be fixed easily with min cost. Asking 73k firm with original MSRP 113k. Factory warranty remains no CPO. Are you worried of the high miles? Would you spend 10-20k more to get a better car with lower miles and more options?

Not necessarily afraid from a reliability standpoint but certainly resale. With limited production models such as the GT3 I believe most potential buyers would pay up for a lower mileage no story example. Here's one with half the mileage, well optioned including PCCB with a BIN of 88K. Currently no bidders and in today's market I'm confident you could do better. I have no affiliation with this car or the seller, merely passing on the information.

without knowing the history of the vegas gt3 and assuming there are no flaws with it.. i would try to get that car at $80k instead of his asking price of $88k. the lower miles and PCCB alone is worth $7k

Vegas car is already on 2nd owner. Seems harder to check up on than a one owner car. Is this a deal breaker for you? How many miles to expect from engine without rebuild if driven aggressivly on street occasionally and say 8 track days a year. Assume great maintenance. Many thanks for comments.

Why would a multiple owner car automatically raise an eyebrow? If the car in question is what you're looking for, priced relevant to the current market and a professional pre-purchase inspection produces a clean bill of health why be concerned? A good car is a good car.

You read the craziest things online. Calling a car with 20K miles high-mileage. Djeez
It's like you can buy the car, but do not think of driving it if you plan on selling it sooner or later. These things are made to be driven, and driven fast and long. No use saving her for the next owner, or do you keep the plastic over the seats too?

You have to get a PPI or have a reputable shop inspect it. If its clean other then what you listed it seems like a very good deal. I wouldn't be scared of the milage unless you plan on using it as a daily and racking up the miles. If you are going to track it or use it as just weekend car then this is perfect.

Agree with the minority. If the history is verified as clean, mileage is a good trade off for price. Most owners of these cars probably care for them better than average. I speak not as a collector but enthusiast. Love to drive mine. 13,000 miles on it.

I have an 04 GT3 with 45k miles on it, no issues, runs like a top, and looks just as good as the 10k mile cars I park next to. If it has a clean PPI and you take care of the car, it will run forever. I wouldn't trade my 6GT3 for anything but a new GT3 or RS.
