Front axle lift is going to be a huge plus in my opinion for getting in and out of driveways alone!!
I ll probably retrofit either the OEM or the Cargraphic system later on.

TT and GT3 are like apples and oranges. you cant even begin to compare the 2. I sold my TT about 9 months ago because I simply couldnt fall in love with it. If you want a VERY tourqy, fast GT, then the TT is right for you. If you want a high revving, ultra-tight track/street car, GT3 is for you. GT3 will NOT be quicker. The TT does not belong on a track when compared to the GT3. I love to track my cars so the GT3 is for me!

Like I said, like apples and oranges. drive both, and youll instantly see why
Not sure I would totally dismiss the TT as a track tool. With a few suspension mods it does quite well and is killer in the wet.

Driver's Republic article said that Porsche claimed the 7.2 GT3 is faster than the 7TT from 100-200km... very impressive.

If this principle is reverse, so is their base price.
As above, heard that its quicker up top compared to a 997tt. I know DR stated I think from 60 on up the 997.2 GT3 was faster, pretty crazy. This new one seems to be wicked in performance, I'd love to see it with a little work done, Manthey kit etc.

I know most of the people would opt for the latest gadgets but not me. I would get it without the lift system and engine mounts because of the added weight and complexity.

im the guy who wants pdk and a 3rd softer psam setting but i cant see adding the weight of the front lift system to it. ive never had problem in 2 yrs of suburban driving and if you do then just replace the plastic lip every yr or so. as to the engine mounts, there are no vibrations that need eliminating so if its for comfort then not needed but dont know about performance gains

Weight of lift system is around 12# Don't think that the shape of the new lip will be as forgiving as the current lip.

Dynamic Engine mounts are more about controlling mass moment of inertia in dynamic driving situations.

What??? 3rd softer psam setting??? It's a GT3, not a Carrera

You want a 30kg gearbox but a 5kg front axle lift is too much??

I'm sure the 997.2 TT will be faster when it comes out.

If not, then I don't see why people will buy a TT if a GT3 is cheaper, faster and more fun.

Dynamic Engine Mounts

Information on Dynamic Engine Mounts from Edmunds:

When you're traveling slowly, the mounts automatically allow as much as 0.8 inch of movement, utterly insulating you from engine vibration. But if you're traveling quickly on a track, this movement is restricted to less than a tenth of that, minimizing drivetrain lash and improving traction.

90% buyers will be faster with a sport version of the pdk despite weight. front lift will not make it faster. and a 3rd psam setting would do more to make it practical then the lift would. if its too soft for some then just dont put it on that setting. no harm, no foul.
