Some 997.2 GT3 info for you guys....
I just spoke with my dealer in which I will be ordering my GT3 through. He said the first 2 months of allocation have been released to dealers at about 140 cars.
He said in this first lot, there will be no dynamic engine mounts or front end lift system.
These features will start with the second lot.

Those engine mounts are just one more thing to break on your car and the front axle lift system isn't exactly a deal breaker. If I had a GT3, I wouldn't be driving it on bad roads anyways. That car is for serious driving only.

Had to remove the front axle lift from the option list, or wait until October ....

in my opinion, its worth the wait for resale value alone. buyers are picky in this market and if you have 2 997.2 GT3's sitting side-by-side (one without these, one with), which do you think the buyer is going to pick? Front axle lift is going to be a huge plus in my opinion for getting in and out of driveways alone!!

If this principle is reverse, so is their base price.

I am a repeat buyer so I am paying MSRP. Not sure about the financial aspect yet. Im going to pick up an allocation that has a oct - nov delivery so I'll evaluate everything at that time. I am leaning heavily towards paying in full.
TT and GT3 are like apples and oranges. you cant even begin to compare the 2. I sold my TT about 9 months ago because I simply couldnt fall in love with it. If you want a VERY tourqy, fast GT, then the TT is right for you. If you want a high revving, ultra-tight track/street car, GT3 is for you. GT3 will NOT be quicker. The TT does not belong on a track when compared to the GT3. I love to track my cars so the GT3 is for me!
Like I said, like apples and oranges. drive both, and youll instantly see why
