I am bored

Been entertaining getting rid of my car, but it may be cheaper just to "freshen her up." Thinking of going all black on the wheels. A pinstripe maybe? Thanks

That looks great! Oakley Design's carbon front lip would be a nice addition.

Send it to Sharkwerks and have Alex make it into a 3.8!!! Then move to Ca. and drive it all year long!! That should solve any boredom problems.

Do you track the car? If not try doing a few DEs with PCA or Audi Club or another. Will reinvigorate you and will also give you a much better sense of what the car is capable of.

Thanks. I have once and it was fantastic! Yet, with 3 children under 5, the track being 5 hours away, and a crappy job, it get's difficult, hence; i was considering a Turbo. Thoughts?

I gather that you are located in Texas and if you look into selling the GT3, I may be interested as I am in the market for one now.

All black wheels will look good!

I also think that a track day or two with the boys would be good for you.

What happens at the track stays at the track!

I'd follow through with the black on the wheels.
Then hug that beautiful car. Oh, and the kids too.
Lucky guy. Just enjoy it all (IMHO).

That car is beautiful. You do realize it's a GT3 right? If you're bored with a GT3 you must not be using it correctly But seriously, I know Texas is quite flat so maybe there's not a lot of twisties to enjoy it on, which is where a car like this shines and is in it's element. In which case the Turbo would fit the bill better for long straight roads, 60-130 pulls come to mind. If that's the case, the R8 isn't going to be any more fun than the GT3 once you get past the initial high of having a new car. However, the Turbo, or even better, a modded Turbo is probably better suited to your "needs". As others have said, sounds like you need a few track days to make this car fun to you again. As for aesthetics, I personally think it's perfect as is, but if you really want something different, then maybe some Martini Stripes would do the trick. Good luck on whatever you decide.
