2010 GT3 4-5k Mark-up?
Looking to put a deposit for a 2010 GT3 at a dealer with an available slot/allocation. Talked with a dealer here in So Cal and he told me right away he will be putting a 4-5K mark-up on top of the MSRP on all 2010's. I'm not paying a dime over MSRP. If I have to order from a dealer out of state to get the best price, I will.
For those who have placed orders, have you put anything in writing as to what price the car will be sold at upon delivery? It's a buyer's market, are you really gonna pay 4-5K above MSRP?

You will not have to pay a markup if you get a factory slot??? The only reason people ever pay over MSRP is because they are buying the car off somebody else who got a car earlier than they want to wait for their own.
So you either find a dealer with an genuine early slot, or go with the local dealer pay MSRP and wait your turn, or let them rip you off for MSRP+5k if you dont want to wait or shop around. Its a buyers market at the moment as you point out so Id personally go with the first option if I were in your situation.
