Has anyone checked with CCW in Daytona Beach, FL? They seem to come out with wheels for new models very fast.

Have we said "no"?

I really hope you didn't hear from HRE that we're not interested in making wheels for the new GT3. That would be rather strange. As soon as we get the centerlock info we'll figure out what is required and get to it. The GT3 is too big of a part of our business not to have wheels for the new car. We're doing the centerlock for the Carrera GT on the Carbon Series and we've done several other centerlock designs in the past for ourselves and private label customers and the GT3 should be no different.

Any guess as to weight yet?

This is from a Wheel Weight Database from the M3post.com and although all the info there is for wheels for E9x M3s, it does provide very useful info:
http://bmw.pencilgeek.org/WheelsDB.html

I would only consider a set of wheels in the 18-22 lbs range.

The monobloc forged Ferrari GT wheels from BBS certainly looks pretty cool! are they available for the 997.2 GT3?

Champion Motorsport's Center Lock Solution

Just thought we would give everybody a little teaser of our new wheel.
We have already taken our measurments, and the wheel is on its way to production. Like all our wheels, this is a true one piece fully forged wheel.

Very, very nice! Pricing and weight? I'll likely get these in black for my white .2 3. Love Champions' products.

I heard that these won't be available for about four months. I know GMG has something in the works, but I don't know the timing of their availability. I was hoping to get something for the track for a couple of October events coming up. Does anybody know of any centerlock wheels that are closer to market?

Last I heard all they needed was someone in Florida to drop by with a GT3 so they could take measurements. Not sure what the current status is.

True customs

Just want to add something for those of you that might be looking for something really different. We offer completely custom center lock wheels. And by custom I mean a wheel set with a design that we will not replicate for anyone else. In addition to that there are sevral other design solutions we can provide. I have posted some of our simpler examples in other threads.

Thanks
Manuel Scettri
