NEW CEC Carbon Fiber Wheels!

Hi guys,

I just wanted to show you some new wheels that are now available. They are Full Carbon Fiber lips with Forged Centers. They are extremely lightweight, and give you a better option then the Dymag produced carbon fiber wheels. These wheels actually offer a lip, and come in any size you would like ranging from 18"-23".

Let me know what you guys think. All are special order and take 6-8 weeks to build. We do have R8 and Gallardo fitment in stock and ready to go. Contact me for pricing or if you have any questions.

Thank you,

Price? Warranty? Wheel Weight(19x9/19x11/19x12)?
Barrel weight (19x9/19x11/19x12)?
Centerlocks?
And how are they a better option than Dymags?
Thanks.

I'm curios if TechArt was able to homologate these wheels through TUV in Germany. As of last week (7/13), TUV Rheinland reported that no CF wheels had been approved for highway use (except for one motorcycle wheel).
I know there are some companies that suggest their CF wheels meet TUV standards, but so far the TUV has yet to approve any.
Let's hope TechArt is the first.

Thank you for your interest. The biggest advantage of these wheels over the competition is the fact that you can get staggered lip setups. Also this wheel is TUV approved. Our wheels have the highest quality barrels. They are manufactured in Germany (Dymag/HRE is produced in Great Britan) and are load rated to support 2300 LBS each. That is much higher then even most forged wheels. Also, Our carbon fiber weave has a cleaner look, and does not have a yellow tinge as some of the competitors do. They come with a 2 year limited warranty.

I will get the 19" weights for you. The 20" for Gallardo weighed as follows.

Front Wheel 8.5x20" weighs 21.90lbs
Rear Wheel 12x20" weighs 23.40 lbs.

The 19" will be substantially less then that. I will get you weight and images of them on a Porsche very soon.

These wheels have been approved by TUV for a few months now.

These wheels are not TechArt Wheels. They are produced for CEC specifically.

Thanks for the info. Great to know they are TUV appoved.
I'm more interested in knowing the barrel weight than anything else. Could you check barrel weight for 19x9/19x11/19x12?
Do you plan to offer with ceterlocks for the 2010 GT3?
Will you offer different centers?
I would assume that each 19's wheel should be somewhere in the high 18lbs, low 19lbs, depending on width and offset, right? But again, the barrel and center weight is very important to know.

Im working on getting the wheel and barrel weights. Here are some images of 19" wheels we did on a GT3. This is the narrowbody, so the widebody will have wider wheel.
