I agree, there will be lots of GT3's for sale at the dealers. I know of two white ones dealers are offering within 100 miles of one another here in Northern ca. One is MSRP and the other will be shortly once they see their are no buyers willing to pay $10K over!!

I learned my lesson on this topic.
I bought a 997.1 GT3 new and when time came to sell, prices tanked.
Same with the E60 M5.
I considered selling my GT3RS and the offers were so offensive that I decided to keep it.
I just bought an '06 E60 M5 with 8,900 miles for $52K. My turn to laugh.
So I will wait and if I still want a 997.2 GT3 in two years then I'll get my chance to rape someone else.
I remember all the hype I was fed by my Porsche salesman when buying the 997.1 GT3 and it's future and resale value. TOTAL BS.
I will never buy new again.

R8s are not even doing well.
ON another note I came to this section after I got 2 emails from past dealers I delt with and they both asked if I was interested in a GT3 at MSRP. 1 sold me a cab at MSRP when they were HOT so I would go with them before anyone else. They are a great dealer.
I was wondering if they were doing the same thing and it seems no one is buying at the moment....
The fact the MSRP has gone up and a ok equipped car is 120k.... yikes
