CaymanGT3 is infamous around these parts
Has the whole flywheel/clutch assembly been converted from pull-type to push-type?

I think the stock clutch is pull-type but that slave cylinder in the pic looks like push-type and also concentric instead of using a fork.

Is that flywheel Tilton or is it oem RS single mass fw?

BTW, the ECU needs to be reprogrammed for the lwfw.

Cargraphic Headers/Manifolds vs. O.E. 3.8L GT3

Exhaust install underway. Cargraphic Headers feature equal length primaries, mandrel bends, and a spiked collector box. When combined with the full Cargraphic GT3 Kit 6 System (Headers, 200 Cell Tri-Metal OBD-II Compliant Cats, 70mm Flappers), the exhaust system reduces the cars weight by 38lbs., and increases output by 23HP/13TQ.

Since the GT3 3.8 is a newly designed engine, was a Dyno baseline run done ?
It would be interesting to see actual results of the exhaust change vs advertised claims on the new engine.

I have the full cargraphic system (headers included) on my mk1 7GT3.
Dynoed the car before and after. sounds amazing. makes less power (4hp less at peak). cargraphic have charts that show something different.

The MKII is reportedly .5 second faster to 100 than the MKI. I don't have any 1/4 mile data handy but it's fair improvement. The "elasticity" (i.e. 50-80) is supposedly quite increased.

I don't have any links, sorry.

Wicked sounding! I think my neighbors would shoot me. Interesting, although not completely surprising, that peak power is reduced. Thanks for the link and honesty.

was your ecu retuned to deal with the added flow after your exhaust install?

could make a big difference.

Engine Mgt has been tweeked from previous version.
The 3.8 has a new ME 7.8.2 engine control system
as well as VarioCam exhaust camshaft control.

Found it:

http://www.tiltonracing.com/pdfs/Til...che99X_CFA.pdf

I think Alan's is 7.25", 2-plate metallic (56-813).

But what's that aluminum plate between the clutch and flywheel?

Comparing GT3 O.E vs. RSS TARMAC Clutch Kit

Comparing the 2010 GT3 flywheel, clutch and pressure plate to the RSS TARMAC 7.25” Dual Disc Package yielded surprising results. The O.E. setup weighed in at a stout 42 lbs. The RSS TARMAC Kit weighed in at an astonishing 17.3lbs. Overall rotating weight is reduced by 24.7 lbs.

O.E GT3 MK.2 Clutch/Flywheel/TB (2010) = 42 lbs.

O.E. GT3 RS Clutch/Flywheel/TB (Angry Pumpkin) = 29.05 lbs.

RSS TARMAC Clutch/Flywheel/TB Package= 17.3 lbs

2010 GT3 Net Reduction = -24.70 lbs.

the aluminum plate between the clultch and flywheel is the replaceable friction plate, i believe.

Cargraphic make the hp claim on the exhaust without ECU.

dyno was before and after with no additional modifications.
