We have had 5 3.8 GT3's on our Dyno and they are making anywhere from 382-390 base hp ( at the wheels) on 91 octane fuel.
These cars all have less than 800 miles on them.

We are very concervative about the claims we make, based on the numbers the factory claims they are in line with the rated engine power of 425 hp.

Factory claims 8-10% drivetrain loss on this car.

I am sure you will see claims of higher numbers by many other tuners.

Based on the data logged and the information shared with Porsche these numbers are correct and inline with what the factory claims in terms of power output for this car.

Those are incredible numbers especially for your dyno. My car was tuned at Harman Motive which from what I understand is the same dyno you have and my car made 350whp that ran high 11's all day long. 380-390whp on a Mustang dyno leads me to believe that these cars are underrated.

Cant say what your car did when it was at Harmann.

When we acquired the dyno we had it completely serviced and recalibrated with new software so the dyno #'s from the time it was at Harmann and where it is at now are not the same.

We worked both Porsche and GIAC to get the dyno calibrated to reasonable average.

We should get your car down to the shop and re-dyno to see where you are at.

You know I have been tuned so many times by Harman it slipped my mind that the final tune I had from him was actually at your shop.

Thanks man. I appreciate you letting us rent your dyno. I actually might contact you in the future for another session. Good luck with the GT3 developments.
