has anyone had experience with the rennline magnetic numbers for track/autocross use. does it scratch paint? if so, is there something i can put behind the magnet to prevent, like wax paper or...?

When I got my first RS I got a great set of magnetic numbers in the RS font.....was really excited right up to the point I hung it on the door and it fell right off. Aluminum doors, oh well. I have used magnetic #s on my "84 Ruf and '73 RSR and as long as you put a little racers tape on the lead edge they won't shuffle on the paint. A fresh coat of was on the panel and making sure the back of the #s is clean is important too.

can you store these on your fridge when not in use?

 

try putting painters tape on the door then slappin those numbers on!
