Thumbs down saw a fake GT3 in alhambra today...

i was having lunch in Savoy restraunt on valley, alhambra, and when i was leaving, i saw a lowered silver 'GT3' with body kit, suddenly, i found there was a roof on the top, and i was like "what the heck..", i walked closed it and saw it was a tiptronic, then i was like " what the hell..", then, it has the 99-01 style headlight, i was like" what the fxxx", then it has a big big sticker"PORSCHE GT3" on its windshield, eventually, i was like" what a ***..."

really dunno what is that guy thinking of.. ahhhhh..

You mean they don't come with a big sticker across the top of the windshield?

Humm.

I don't see too many 996's in Alhambra.... That's kinda wierd though. The last "fake" GT3 I saw was in El Sugundo in the Bowing parking lot. Just with a drive-by I could tell it was a "fake".....

I'm not really sure why people would go that far any how. I mean who are they trying to fool? Most of the public really doesn't know the difference between a GT3 and a Carrera... The ones that do can usually spot a fake within 2-3 seconds.

It's just like the M3 & M5, the general public doesn't know what that means either.....

An alternate view - Not to defend anyone in particular...but how many people have put a GT2 bumper on a TT, or a turbo spoiler on a N/A 996 or 993? Come on...you can like the look and not have the budget, or the spouse wants an auto box, or you drive in traffic. Appreciate them for having the sense to buy a pcar.

(although this is an alternate view, I personally do not like fake re-badging, and this appears to have been done in poor taste).

weak....why do these posers have to do this? in particular, i loved seeing the fake yellow countach CONVERTIBLE(!) parked in front of some of the poser restaurants on sunset....why must such people exist?? WHY???? WWWHHHYYYY?????
p.s.- i love confronting these people for some reason. i think it is a sickness of mine! i must do it for the dumb-founded reaction i get and confused expression on their face and then, textbook anger and bewilderment. comedy! they never have any quick-witted comebacks, as i think they are expecting people to give them the thumbs up "cool car guy" yell. LOL.

What is so good about their Hai Nan Chicken? The rice? The chicken? Or the sauce? I hope you guys know there there are many other better places in that area.

And what's wrong with driving your porsche to Alhambra .
