GT3 RS.2..no flex from Porsche even on decals
#17
Blue/gold actually
Having mentally started with the Grey/Gold with decal delete, I have now pretty much settled in on Blue/Gold with decals.
Only "down side": they all will be attention-getters I think, as much as Ferrari or Lambo.

You wouldn't think that omitting decals would be so difficult, given this statement on the Porsche website:
"You can see what we really mean by customisation at our Porsche Exclusive Customer Center in Zuffenhausen. Here, among other things, you can select the materials, exclusive woods and paint colours and leather of your choice and plan your own Porsche using the Porsche Car Configurator. We want to show you what we can do. And you can also experience how we make customer requirements into reality, here, directly on site. Down to the smallest detail. Just as you expect from Porsche Exclusive."

I also find the red roll cage and the vertical bars for the wing rice - the stickers are easy to take off but they look fine. Wheels look great, i don't understand why one would paint them black. The truth is people buying RS are strange

No idea why, but they were not too flexible on the RS.1 either.

That is really surprising. Probably because the RS.1, silver was the least ordered color. But Silver with orange accents was visually strange and tough to get used to. I bet had they done silver and black accents it would have been a different story and we'd be seeing the RS.2 offered in it. But you're right from the 356/01 all the way to the CGT and newer 997's of all variants, Porsche's have always been available in Silver. If enough people make requests directly to PCNA, I'm sure they'd add it. Kinda like how they weren't originally going to do black. Or how on the RS.1, initially white ones weren't available with the black script and were later added as an option.

Color to sample was not available. only on the GT3, not the RS. You are correct with the official colors for the 7.1 RS however they later added white, but it was not available with the RS script, very shortly after they introduced white, due to popular requests, they added the script in black as a no cost option.
