Opinion on Painting Front lip

I have a White GT3 arriving @ the port next week, will have it by 11/7... I am considering whether to paint the front lip to match ext color, interested in the groups opinion.

I have always painted my TT's lip to match

I say go for it, can't hurt and it'll give it that extra little personalized look and give the appearance that it's even lower than it already is. But that being said, since you have your lip on the 997TT painted, do you find it a pain in the butt to keep from being scratched? It might be a bit liberating to know you wont have to worry quite as much about scratching it. What color is the GT3 gonna be?

kind of a cheapo mod to do but you could still paint the lip and then do a truck bed liner spray on the bottom of the lip to help prevent scratching? some e46,e36,30 guys do it on bimmers that are ridiculously dropped to help protect their lips? other guys have done thin pieces of abs plastic and the like as well but just tossing a quick fix idea out there

Save your money/time. Chin spoiler is essentially a disposable part. It'll be chewed up in your first 1000 miles.
