BRracing GT3 - not your std dd

Robb,
Thanks for your response. I get it, for all out track track use, Brembo or Stoptech is the way to go. Regarding the weight differences between PCCB and steel rotors, I don't think anyone here thought that the steel would be lighter than ceramic. However, many of us are interested in the benefits of lighter unsprung and rotational weight as well as ultimate stopping power and pad selection. I am sure that many of us GT3 owners that are considering a brake upgrade from the present factory steel on our cars want to know if the Stoptech 60 rotors are lighter than the OEM ones.
Can you please weight them and tell us? If they are, then it would be the ultimate to have greater stopping power, durability, pad selection as well as the benefits of lighter rotational mass. Also, could you clarify regarding the calipers weight being 7 pounds lighter than the factory yellow calipers: Is it 7 pounds total for the four calipers or per each caliper?. Thanks, have a great day!

Guys...we will try to get the weights directly from the mfg'rs on both sets, rather than just rely on our weighing as well...so that you can be properly informed.
Again, we can affirm that the total unsprung weight w the PCCB is less than either the Brembo race or the Stoptech race system.

It's been a little while, but it seems many others are posting pics of their 997.2 GT3 or RS at the track, and thought we would add some eye candy as well.
This will likely be the last set of pics with the car in the current form it is now....about to take another step in the progress of producing the best all around DD and track monster....even better in our mind as a COMBO car than the new 997.2 RS.....so, here are some recent pics from our BRracing Track Day that we held at Laguna Seca on June 1, 2010 w our customers (we rented the track, the suites, and the garages, plus we brought in our own set of race instructors for our customers, and full catered event all day for our guests).
Happy to see anyone at the track, and come join us........our next BRracing day will be at Infineon (Sears)
