Cost to track 2010 GT3?
Considering a 2010 GT3 as a dual purpose track and daily driver.. I would track the car 15 times a year on average. What should I expect to spend on track related items annually, ie. brake pads, rotors, ect. What are the other main wear items I need to take into consideration?

Cost to do track days depends on your use and how fast you want to go .
For starters I would say $2500.00 to $3500.00 ( minimum) on basic maintenance and new tires every weekend.
Does not include an agricultural excursions you might have

2.5K for 15 events .....Yaaaa right!!!!!
This is what each 2 day event roughly costs for me: (most events are 200-400 miles away from me)
Track Entry Fee: $300
Tune Up: $150
Gas to Event: $150
Hotel: $250
Food: $200
Track Gas: $150
Misc. $100
Tires $400 ($1200 if you use a fresh pair every weekend)
So every track weekend, out of pocket is around: $1,700
If you want to use fresh rubber each weekend: $2,500
So.... I hope you guys were saying $2,500 per weekend and not $2,500 for 15 track days...
if so I want to track where you track.

Admission for agriculture excursion, body bondo and towing fees are extra of course
Don't forget the "go fast mod" cost. that's usually $100 to $6000 depending on what's needed to go faster then the next guy

figure $1000 per day and you MIGHT be pleasantly surprised
I get 3 days out of a set of R6s so that is my largest expense... a big chunk, if not the biggest will be tires and the faster you go, the quicker they wear out...
So if the track day is $300 roughly
set of tires (roughly $1400, R6 Hoosier from TR) divided by three for me -- $466
so that is $766 just in fees and tires...
then add oil changes, brake pads, rotors, gas, etc... and you are pretty close to $1000 per day, if not over.

Several people I know don't even keep track of what it costs. If they knew how much they spent, they might not want to keep doing it. Besides, if the wife asks how much you're spending and you really don't know, then you're not lying when you say "I have no idea!!"

When your first getting used to the car, or are new to going on track things will last much longer! (probably 2-3 times what people are saying. But as soon as you start pushing the car closer to it's limits things wear out exponentially.
I had mine for 3 years (getting rid of it this week with 30k miles). Drove it daily plus put 100+ track days on it.
Hoosiers last 10-12HC, Front Pads last 2-3 weekends (rears about 30-40% longer), front rotors about 4-5 weekends depending on pad choice, rears 7+ weekends.
Best advice ....don't add it up, otherwise you'll end up buying a miata
