Here was your first:

Just go towards the bottom of the page and see your previous posting some time ago, but here it is anyways -

Yea, I know....we seem to be spending more time on R & D than spreading the word or getting our website up dated....goals for next year.

Marc,

Did you see my post earlier in this thread. I have a definite need for a minimum of 1-2 complete sets of PCCB replacement rotors.

Marc,

A few questions that got missed. Thanks.

Hi Guy,
Austin will be contacting you shortly, if he has not already about a quantity purchase.

Sloth,
Currently, we have only one cutom rotor that works...as you know, AP and Brembo and maybe Alcon have rotors, but the inner eye diameter is not small enough for our pads unless custom made...ie: high expense. We use NASCAR rotor technology, much lower costs and excellent quality.

More details to follow....

Regards and Happy Holidays!

Cup Rotors (continued)

Hey all,

So for some Q&A...

1. Drilled vs. Slotted:
Drilled: helps to rapidly dissipate the gases btwn pad and rotor, but deducts from brake disc friction surface quantity. If drilled correctly, stress points and clogging can be reduced to lesser degree. Drilled are slightly more expensive.

Slotted: helps to dissipate the gases with less friction surface loss than drilled. Slotted rotors are more likely to heat up fast, and slots can easily exhibit clogging. Slotted are slightly less expensive.

for more info, there is a good write-up (derived from Tire Rack) at
http://www.gti-vr6.net/library/wheel...ed_rotors.html

2. Replacement rotors would come from DEVEK, it's a DEVEK specific hat, would require rotors that would be guaranteed to fit.

3. DEVEK Corporation performs service, repair, parts sales, engineering, fabrication, and restoration for all Porsche vehicles (on all levels: daily driver, performance, and track).

Hey Guy, private message coming your way today...

Thanks,
Austin
