A question for Sharkwerks. I have an orange 2007 RS with 14,000 miles (has your bypass rear exhaust on it). Never over revved, and seldom driven hard. What is my expected engine life (in miles) before I should be looking at having you rebuild (as in required, not as in I want it) the engine to a 3.9? Does the RS come with a LSD, or is open as in the GT3 snowboarder54 owns? Price still the same as last year for the 3.9 conversion? Thanks.

The RS and 3 both have the same weak LSD that wears out too soon;( We did add/update our conversion to include the LSD unit strengthened by guard. As far as the stock 3.6 engine life it really depends on how it's driven / used. Bearing wear or valve guides etc.. all wear with miles and track use but a street car should go for a long long time. 14k is very low miles

Thanks for the response. I definitely plan on your 3.9 conversion when the time comes.

No worries... we have a very nice white RS that's undergoing the conversion so we always have room for a Pumpkin in the family, right Snowboarder
