Recent track day at Sepang... how many GT3s and GT2s can you spot?

Harold, is it a Porsche club event, or a bunch of like minded guys who meet? I'm in KL and thinking of casual tracking. Any restrictions for cabrios, I notice one in the group. Do you turn up on the day or is there some pre-registration needed? Cost? I know more questions than answers in life!
Do drop by on 15/1 afternoon session as we have a mixed group going up and have a chat. will see if we can get you on that track day if you are keen. Cabriolets etc all welcome for sure! Pre registration needed as there are limited slots. Cost for a PCS event is MYR600, for other events its more like MYR400...

Recently sold my C63 AMG and bought a low mileage 2008 GT3 clubsport. Basically the same spec as my old car in Singapore except more leather in the the interior, PCCBs and is arctic silver (nowhere near as nice as slate grey IMO, but I can live with it!). Looking forward to taking it out on the Yas Marina circuit when it opens to the public sometime in 2010 hopefully.

Yes mate, its really awesome to have regular access to a world class F1 track. Lots of interesting off camber turns etc that can and do catch the unweary driver by surprise.
We run the full track for our trackdays which is just over 5.5km of bliss, with the narrowest part of the track still standing at over 16 meters over an area of 90 hectares.
Amazingly, the lap record is 1min 38sec by Montoya. By comparison, a championship winning Carrera Cup car can do 2.10, with an RSR doing maybe a couple seconds faster.... shows just how amazing F1 cars and their drivers really are...

This was by far the largest GTcars turn out ever in the history of Porsche Club Singapore trackdays. 9 GT3s ( 2 of which are RS ) and 2 GT2s.
Yeah Harold...
