goto your battery, there should only be one drain tube, the tubes drop down to where the rust show on that pix. usually the tube is longer and does'nt touch paint, not sure why my was that way.

Funny you mention this. When I disconnect the battery fume drain tube there was a very strong acid smell - so strong it made me cough. Lead acid battery ... gotta get rid of them. I will help you install the light weight Li-ion battery for free if you yell at me couple more time on the track

could you please provide me with the Porsche Mexico Blue colour code? I am thinking about painting my wheels and mirrors that colour.

I don't think that is mexico blue? Looks the same colour as my RS...
Light a bit different here as it was near dusk but his look like how mine photo in indoor light.

Ok so in-between the other 3.9 builds we've slowly been making progress on our 996GT3 build.
With the heads off we're down to the pistons now:

No thanks to Mooty and JWGT2 she's had a fair amount of usage
Pistons out and removed we're down to the rods (same Titanium ones as in the 997GT3).
