Is there a safe single jacking point on the rear and front of these cars? I would like to be able to put jack stands at the factory lift points on either end instead of one side at a time.

I use a jack (not a stand) and lift at the rear lift point (in front of the rear wheel) and it will lift both front and back of the car.

^ Not following that NorthVan.... you lift the entire car with a jack? How are you lifting the front 2 wheels from the ground?

lifting the left rear will also raise the left front
lifting the right rear will also lift the right front

the chassis of the car is stifff enough to allow this to happen

Yup, my method as well. Must be time to go home... description makes sense now but didn't hit me right the 1st read through. Still OP seems to be looking for a way to lift both fronts at the same time... I'm unaware of a way to do it without damaging the car. For the purposes of putting the car on stands it would be nice to lift one end at a time instead of one side at a time.

You can jack the rear from a single point, but I'm not aware of a way to do the front. I can't describe the rear location clearly without looking at it, but any Porsche tech can point it out. It is not an officially recommended procedure, which they will also point out, but I've never heard of a problem, when done correctly.

Sorry, I can see how you were confused by my other post. As for jack stands, I will do each side separately. I would rather be safe then sorry.

Yes, this is what I am wanting to know. If there is someone on this board that raises the rear or front at a single lift point a picture of the proper point would be appreciated.
