Hi,
This is the master list of common problems.... for 996tt (originaly posted by the very nice member at 6speedonline "jjbravo").
What are the common problems with GT3 cars beside the RMS?

2) Rear spoiler failure
3) Accumulator
4) Slave
5) Fr. Sway bar link clunk
6) Clutch-OK for stock, but NO power adders please....
7) DV's
8) Coolant tank
9) Ign. switch
10) Fr. Wheel bearing
11) MAF
12) Coils
13) Radiators
14) Alternator
15) separating water hose fittings

- Tendency to wear out tires, brake pads and discs (in that order)
- Exhaust too quiet - needs to be Sharkified
- Drinks gas too quickly when living at 7000+ rpm all the time
- Front splitter needs replacing after taking speed humps at over 100mph
- Everyone wants to drive it
- Young beautiful women want to have a ride (don't tell the wife)
- Addictive - worse than crack cocaine (so I am told )

Seriously the stock LSD internals are made of brass-can u say crap?
If u track enuf u get undesired and scary rearend wiggle side to side under hard braking and pig slow thru corners-instead of flying thru like a bullet it's "damn where that miata come from?" U really need to check the LSD which covers all reiterrations 6/7. Coolant hoses can blow( that's lotta fun at the track- ie no track sessions after that). Mike

I know what you mean. I don't see those pesky miata anymore thanks for a rebuild LSD
