Looking at 6gt3 in Chicago
Hello everyone, I'm new to this or any forum but decided to join because of all the good info.(sort of addicted to the forum). I spotted a 6gt3 on eBay and was wondering if anyone had any info that could help. The car is in Chicago and I'm in Fl. and don't want to do an unnecessary trip. It would be great if someone had knowledge about this car. It is a yellow 2005 with about 11000mi, lowered and fab exhuast, has been to "drivers ed classes". Is there a reliable person to do a ppi in the area? BTW tested a 2007 and loved it but couldn't justify price at this time. Thanx for any help.

Call Kurt @ Kurt's German Autowerks: http://www.kurtsgermanautowerks.com/
I assume that this is the one at Rizza in Orland Park? If so, then Kurt is not too far away. This car has been for sale for quite a while now. I never looked at it because yellow was not an option for me.
Best of luck,
Mike

Hey Mike, thanx for getting back to me. I've read on the forum that yellow and red are hard to sell. I'd prefer white myself but yellow is ok. If my deal here in FL. falls apart, I'll be calling your contact for the ppi, thanx again.

Yes, thats the car (should have put link in before but new to this forum thing). Any info or advise on that car would be appreciated. Waiting for deal or no deal down here, if no deal, would be very interested. Thanx

From what I understand the trade in value should be way below 50k so you know that is a good starting point. It's a buyer's market out there and have a great time hunting for the GT3. Have you driven the GT3 on the track yet? You will be pretty surprise what it can do on the track.

Yea that got to be it. Didn't notice sticker though. Can't be a 2003 if it is a real gt3. I'm going to have a ppi done if thing get that far, but thanx.
