PPI. But thats alot of miles for a GT3, thats out of my comfort zone. Only because I dont know the history of GT3s with that many miles. If the PPI is clean then I dont see why not. the price IS VERY good however.

There's always a better deal right around the corner, but there's not always a better car. You have to decide which you're really shopping for. If you're trekking it back from Dallas to San Antonio, you should swing by Harris Hill Road on the way back and break the car in right with a few laps on the track.

Good price...I just sold my 7k mile 07gt3 for 83k. (and moved to an rs)

The only issue you will have w/ 20k+ miles is if you go to sell the car...if you are going to hang on to it, who cares.

Get it cpo'd and drive the wheels off it. Nothing like a gt3.

So, I decided to pass on the deal. The car is great and one of the best Porsche mechanics in the south says it's tip-top.

This is a great deal and if I was looking for a 3rd car this would absolutely be the one. But since I really need a DD I'm going to pass.

Great deal for someone else...

If you're interested let me know and I'll shoot you the sellers info.

What makes you think you can't daily drive the GT3?

Actually I'm sure I can but the car is not without its compromises. Stiff clutch, road & engine noise, and lack of technology (blue tooth, great sound system, etc) are what is driving my decision.

Don't get me wrong - I would be thrilled to own one but perhaps I'm not ready for something with quite as fine an edge.

So my search will continue for a C2S and I may go drive a C63.

Personally I think you would be happier with a lower mileage GT3 07/08 with a CPO. You will pay more but the upside is less mileage and CPO.

But if MB is your thing I do know of a very very nice C63 AMG at Hennessey Porsche in Atlanta for 82k asking price....

Be honest: have you even driven a GT3 yet? Calling it engine "noise" strongly hints that you haven't.

Man the miles people are afraid of is strange. If I $15,000 Golf will go 200K+ how can a few thousand miles on a drivers car have any problems doing 20+k.

The guy who sold his '07GT3 with only 7k miles, is that even broken in yet?

I would be choked if my GT3 needed a motor build at 25thou.

Yeah, the miles only bother me slightly but ONLY because they are high relative to a majority of other GT3's on the market. This car is so over-engineered for what most people do with it I just don't see 25k miles, or even 75k miles being a problem. But maybe I'm full of crap.

And you are correct, I have not driven one yet. I did check out a 2010 and started it up on the showroom floor just to get a small sense for the "noise", which is beautiful BTW.

I may go up and actually drive the thing this weekend in order to make a final decision but it may sell before then so we'll see.

And I've seen several low mileage C63's in the $52k-55k range which seems pretty darn good to me. The local dealer will put me in a brand new one for under $70k but I don't see why I would pay a $15k+ premium when I can get one with only 5-6k miles on it for so much less.

We'll see...if I drive the GT3 this weekend I'll post my review.
