also, is there any noticible performance difference with the added rear down force?
i know the wing is set to its lowest position from the factory but can be adjusted to +1 or +2

Do you mean with the stock wing?
Here's my GT3 with the RS wing running an aggressive angle.
The more aggressive angle I felt worked well for short tight courses but for topend was no good. Despite the Cup front spoiler above 120 mph the nose became light, not planted and wandered a bit. If I got to 140 it was downright unsettling.

Like what Ranger said, there is a noticeable difference even at a slight tilt at high speed. You won't notice much at highway speed. It's very useful for track. I usually tilt it up couple degrees for Thunderhill and Laguna Seca depends on the track and tire condition

thanks guys for the pics and input. i was really asking about the smaller stock GT3 wing and how it looks on the car in its +1 and +2 positions and how much it influences the driving dynamics.
i know the RS wing will have a more pronounced effect but am asking about the stock 7.1 GT3 wing

pics of stock wing at max
To adjust upwards, these screws have to be removed
- adjusting upwards to top hole works nicely for upper rpm 3rd gear turns
- by mid 4th gear rpms, you can feel the rear cavitating a bit
- because rear wing in both +1 and +2 positions are only hold now by a single metal (male) pin in the metal (female) hole (as the screw has to be removed) you will notice in your rear view mirror the wing vibrating
