i've got the entire doors done from the handles down as well as the entire area behind the front wheel opening and entire area in front of the rear wheel openings. but, this won't (luckily) in any way affect airflow (and therefore pebble toshing into the cabin).

Waxing the cearbra is essentially a deep clean to restore it. Hopefully the protected paint underneath was meticulous when applied. Without exposure to elements, paint should be beautiful underneath for a long time.
and...my mention of the clearbra was for protecting the paint referenced in GaryFL's post. :-) But maybe they could develop a dimpled version that smooths airflow like a golf ball.

when your windows are down? i received two smacks (seperate times) on a mountain drive recently and a passenger of mine got one last week. it's gonna suck large for Porsche if one gets into a driver or passenger's eye.

I was in My brother's M3 trying to follow a CGT and SL 500 racing (did the guy in hte SL think he had a chance??)...anyways as the CGT punched it and started to pull away a bunch of pebbles hit the windshield

Guess you guys never drove an open car in a race.....I've been BELTED, SMACKED, CONKED, AND CRACKED AT withing my helmet, driving open (prototypes) cars. FIRST time this happens you KEEP THE VISOR CLOSED from then on as you leave pit stop until you STOP again. Once, my crew chief removed a HALF INCH BOLT that was stuck into my helmet. definite turbulance at 200! M
