I watched this on TS. What strikes me as odd is that the camera seems to be at many many places. Someone planted this or someone had to know what was happening. Porshe the marketing machine.

Mclaren doesn't need to burn the midnight oil, its not really competing with Porsche. Also the Mclaren has similar hp and weighs less as well.
One thing I am curious about is the rumor that the Metzger engine will be used i n the 997.2 GT2 RS. What does that say for the power capability of the A91 series engines?

Yeah, GT-R's are dumb... Why pay more than $80k for some lame performance? I agree with you. Who wants a smart computer helping me with shifts like the PDK? Stupid smart dumb cars.
Now seriously - about the GT2RS, unfortunately for me, it'll probably be a loooong time before I get to see one. I guess I'll just have to enjoy it vicariously through youtube videos, and a few posts on this website.

I respectfully bow out of this conversation....

Now that is the truth being spoken, you could probably take one to 620 rwhp vs 620 flywheel and save yourself alot of money in the process. I love Porsche's but at $200k ....something Italian sounds real appealing!
