I was also really sad to hear this. It was a great car and I know you loved it.

You're absolutely welcome to drive my old Porsche any time. I'll be sure to keep some nice tires on it for ya. I'm sure you'll be back in a GT3 soon!

Thanks Dan,

Boy, driving your 912 would be like going back in time!! Don't forget all this craziness started 48 years ago when I owned my first 1956 356A!! But nothing through all those years comes close to this car!! I'm going to miss it,but I'm sure this is only temporary!

Wow, what an amazing vehicle. Good luck with the sale! I'm already envious of the lucky buyer...

I’m sorry to say there hasn’t been much interest in my 3.9 on the forums. So tomorrow I will be posting the car on eBay and a few other sites. I was really hoping someone from the forums familiar with the SW conversion would end up with it. Thanks for the support guys.

It's a beautiful car with a unique engine... If I was in the market for a GT breed, I would certainly get yours.

Would you like to trade yours with mine along with some extra $? j/k

No thanks on the trade, when I get a replacement it will be another Gen. 1 Gt3/RS. After 48 years of owning Porsches I don't think I would ever have anything other then a GT3!!

M3GT3RS is infamous around these parts
can you re-do the conversion so that you can just sell it as a gt3 and sell the 3.9 to someone else? that way you don't take a bath on the sale.

Trust me, I'm not very excited about this! I also have a brand-spank'n new (never lived in house) for sale right in the middle of some of the best northern Ca. roads ever, if anyone is interested. I'm almost giving it away as well. The only bright spot is I don't have a loan on it!!

GL with everything. I'm sure things will get better. Your car is awesome. It needs a unique buyer but it will find a home.
