I think they chose the wrong car to compare with the Italia. IMO the Turbo is a better comparo as it is more of a street car than the RS. All 3 are awesome cars to be sure, but to me the RS has a different mission and that is track duty.

I am a Porsche guy through and through. Yet I am realistic, the Ferrari is a different level car. In my life time it always has been and always will be. Ferrari has taken this to a new level. Porsche has done a bang up job in the last 2 years trying to recognize and fix things that the GT-R and its performance brought out about the flaws of the Porsche 911.
Yet the Ferrari is a car that no person in their right mind says, I think the GT-R is better then much less a Porsche.
The guy did a great job of explaining the difference w/out saying 1 is better then the other. They are different; the last shot of the cars coming around the corner was awesome. The Porsche is and may always be a very heavy driver dependant car. The Ferrari is now not. It has taken the direction of the GT-R and used technology to assist in making a driver better by just driving the car.
Would I have the Porsche GT3-RS over the Ferrari, only if I couldn’t afford the Ferrari.
Thanks for the link, it was a great video.

Don't think Ed, you need a GT3.

RS for me all the way even if I can easily afford the Ferrari.

They are both a dream to own IMO. I think sometimes we who own great high end exotic sports cars forget how lucky we are... We'll I remember everyday as I get into my 996TT and drive to work.

Never in my life thought I'd say this, but I actually like the sound of the RS exhaust better than the Ferrari.
I don't think the Italia looks good at all, though I certainly respect the engineering that has gone into it. Just looks like the engineering took away from the appearance somehow.
This marks the REAL return of the GT3 RS (since the 996 RS). I'm still in awe of that exhaust sound......
