factory test miles?

Porsche test miles
Back in the air cooled days Porsche even had an ad touting the fact that the cars had 25-50 miles on them. In the old days of Werk II, a car would be driven off the line and driven over about 30' of what looked like railroad ties. Then it would go the a chassis dynamometer for 30-40 minutes and driven through the gears. Then, it would go out on the highway for a drive. Any shakedown problems would be addressed.
Would you prefer no miles?

I dont mind factory test miles, but I do mind being told there are no test drives for loyal customers, then find that some other people have test driven the car. You know what I mean?
Im thinking of purchasing a 2010 and they told me no test drives, but there's 33 miles on it. Not the end of the world, but it does bother me if the car has been test driven by others that did not buy the car and Im seriously going to buy it and I can't drive it until I purchase it?

if you are concerned with the mileage ask them for a DME scan/readout so you can see if it was abused..if that shows nothing I wouldn't worry about a few miles...just fewer miles you will have to drive before you can wind it up
