07' GT3 & 09' Turbo Coupe or 11' GT3RS?!?!?!?
Well, that pretty much the question. The good----- I currently have an 09' Turbo coupe (manual) that I drive several times a week and I recently purchased an 07' GT3 to track. In fact, I got to track the Gt3 for the first time Friday and I can't tell you how much more I like tracking that car over my Turbo!! I'm seriously addicted now! The BAD!!!---- I have a friend,,,,, CC08GT2,,,,, who is a really bad influence on me and owns a GT2 and the 10' GT3RS!!! I've been in the GT3RS several times and I love the car! It's amazing! I have an opportunity to get one and I'm confused! The turbo is a great street car and the 07' GT3 is a great track car,,, but the GT3RS could be both!!! Damn you, CC08GT2!!!! HELP!!

I love the GT3 RS...life is too short. Enjoy it to its fullest.

Three cars,,, Yes, but NO WAY! My friends already think I have issues!!lol I've thought about keeping the Turbo,, then no keep the GT3 for just tracking, no get rid of both,, Damn my head is spinning! It's keep the two or get the RS! The main problem with the RS is I WILL drive it and rack up the miles!!!

I'm going to get flamed for saying this but, why not trade both for the Ferrari 458. Street and track ready.
To answer your questions i'd probalby go 2011 GT3RS and downgrade the turbo towards a M3 or C63 for the street. Or even go towards cheaper S4, STi or worst depending if you need awd for winters.

I said keep your current 2 cars.
As much as I love my .2RS, I prefer to use the club coupe for daily commute, more comfortable, you can actually enjoy some music, and it attracts less attention.

I agree with the above. Trade both in and get the 458. It's both a DD and track car.
I'm more of the have one tool that does everything. What's more important to you? Track car or comfort car? If you find yourself driving one car more than the other, then sell the car that you rarely drive or sell the one that doesn't make your heart skip a beat or two. Your Turbo and GT3 are similar and yet different.
i.e., if you told me you had a Bentley and GT3, then I'd say keep both since they're for different purposes.
bottom line, get the RS

You already have a GT3 in your garage, I know the new RS looks amazing but do you really need it? Are you thinking of the new RS for the cosmetic purposes or track? If you're going to say track, I don't know how much time you can knock off trading from a 997.1 GT3 to 997.2 GT3 RS... I would suggest putting some better suspension and some r-compound or slick tires on your 997.1 GT3 and beat the crap out of the other cars!
I have a modded 997 C2S, and I am amazed on how many cars I can take on with mine...

If it was me, i'd think about these two options:
Option A:
1. Sell both cars and get the .2GT3RS
2. Unless you already have one, get a Cayenne TT for daily driving
Option B:
1. If you like your GT3 at the track, sell the turbo anyway
2. Learn how drive your GT3 at the limit, then invest in slicks, etc to get the GT3 faster
3. See Option A #2
Comfort & power for daily use, GT3 or RS for track and occasional street use!
Bottom line, doesn't sound like you can go wrong regardless of your choice
Cheers, TK

You can also use the Cayenne to tow the GT3 to the track and you can start running a more aggressive set up on the GT3.
