nope because they didnt jack the price up a ton when the Euro value was MUCH BETTER than the dollar so why would they lower it now?

Here is a dyno from a rennlister's 2010 stock RS:

Wow, the GT3 RS is showing some great dyno numbers on the link you provided. If the dyno used on that RS was accurate the car looks to be producing about 25 to 30 hp more then what Porsche is advertising (if 15% loss is used). Nice to see when a manufacture delivers more then promised.

The RED line was completely stock. When compared to the RS dyno I provided above, both put the same power at the wheels at "X" RPM, until right after 5.5K RPM (see both put down 300 whp at 5.5K RPM). After that, all the way till 8K RPM, the RS' powerband is stronger. I believe its only due to the RS' intake box an, and the RS' deckled intake vents. The RS' intake vents on the decklid are huge compared to the non RS GT3. It feeds much more air to the engine. As a little experiment, I'll be installing an RS decklid and intake box on my car soon

Nope. Just an 08 manual with about 575 HP to the wheels. My RS is faster around the track. I think it is the combo of lighter car, rear wheel drive, and torque band that makes it so much of a track beast. It can do lap times about 4 secs faster than a regular GT3 on a 1.7m track.

Yeah, they are strong. Just for comparison, here is a stock (red), Akrapovic race exhaust (green), and tune (blue) dyno of my 2010 GT3 (non RS).

Very impressive gains with the mods you installed on your car. Love seeing people pushing the envelop with their cars. Bonus points for you my friend
Regarding the intake scoops on the RS...I wouldn't think they would come into play until the much higher speeds...130 to 190 MPH. IMHO, a dyno operator/ technician would not be able to reproduce the "ram air" effect that happens in the real world ie. A top speed run with very high air pressure hitting the scoops and very high negative air pressure exiting the rear of the car. I would think the extra engine compression would account for the added HP in the upper rev range of the RS's motor. The "ram air" scoops would be the icing on the cake which may not be seen in the dyno charts but felt at the track.
