Tire pressure for non-R compound tires?

I'm currently running RE-050A's. That's what was on the car when I bought it last fall as a pre-owned vehicle. I'm getting conflicting advice on tire pressures. On the one hand, I hear that I should stick with the vehicle spec, which is 29f, 33r. On the other hand, I hear that only applies to the OEM R-compound tires (e.g. MPSC), and for street tires it should be something like 33f, 39r, which is closer to what the C2S runs, I believe. My driving is a mix of street and some track.

29/33 for street. MPSC are not R compound. So, PS2, MPSC, RE11, etc are 29/33.

On track, different story. Varies by tire. And generally much lower pressure to start with, ending up with 34/35 when hot (MPSC). But each tire is different.
