Sweet looking RS. I dont think it was a rental. It was just a leased car.

 

Sweet ride! My only change would be to lose the white front lip and go with black.

send the link to the dealer and tell them to suck it - the car very well could be straight but it has been hit and they should price it accordingly

I was in the market for a white one and looked at this car and passed on even inquiring due to the history on the registry and the asking price - IMHO this is a 5 figure car

 

Why do you think there is a mileage discrepancy on the registry? At one point it was at 2487 miles and now just 2031 miles?

 

have no idea... but really at the premium asking price knowing that the history is questionable... I thik fretting over it is a waste of time... there are other cars on the market that have not been put into a tire wall, have not had the side glass in and out, have no mileage discrepencies etc...

I am not out to jinx anyone and I have no history with the selling dealer etc... just people were kind and helped me get to my eventual car and I am simply trying to do the same...

Good piece of info, I remember this crash someone took pics of the car afterwards, they were bad pics but were posted somewhere, maybe rennlist, maybe I'm wrong. Anyhow this is tremendous piece of info and greatly appreciated.

 

I remember the pics and I thought they were on the registry or at least links to them...

expert ppi and she may check out fine but the registry will always say "vir tire wall"

perfect candidate for a track car if it is straight and purchased right... it will sell at close to asking price to someone who is not informed...

as they say "if you don't know, you better ask somebody"

this type of info is the reward for posing the question to the board

Thanks very much for all the info. I was interested because white is pretty hard to find...although the price was way high even for a clean no stories car, they'd obviously have some wiggle room on asking price.

I replied that the registry showed the car was wrecked on the track by the first owner.... I'll let you guys know what their response is.
