Our customer just sold his 997 MK1 GT3 and stepped up into a brand new White 2010 GT3RS...

It just arrived for a few select upgrades to suit his tastes, here are the first items on the list:

• Black Side Skirts Painted White
• Black Front Spoiler Painted White
• Amber Side Markers to Clear
• Red Checkers and GT3RS Graphics Removed (Yay!)
• GT2 Carbon Sport Bucket Seats
• RSS Harness/Rollbar in Red Powdercoat
• Schroth Harnesses
• RSS XPipe 3rd Muffler Exhaust
• EVOMSit Software Upgrade
• RSS Rear Link Kit & Toe Steer Kit
• Cargraphic Pedal Set
• Lower OE Coilovers 10mm
• A Few Other Goodies TBD...

Should be interesting to see how the black side skirts and black front spoiler look painted white on a white '10 RS....

Very nice, same colors as my incoming 2011. Can't wait to see the finished look! Are the link and toe kit necessary on this car? Deciding between RSS exhaust or Akrapovic, hmmm......

 

Not so sure I am into those mods but hey, to each their own.

 

Congrats on your incoming 2011! The new RS is amazing right out of the box, but since we are lowering the car at least 10mm, the customer likes less deflection and the stiffer feel the rear links (dogbones) / rear toe steer kit offer, not to mention the added adjustment if desired...

This customer has always liked to do his own thing...
I'm on the fence with the front spoiler lip and side skirts going white, IMO - I don't mind them in Black.
Everything else on his list – I like.... to each their own is right.

 

Bryan, I don't understand why this car has stock seats?
I thought all RS' came w/ GT2 carbons...mine better!

 

He bought this RS off the dealer lot, didn't custom order....
The car looks funny without them....

 

I look forward to seeing the finished pics! I completely understand your customer, I'd get the car now rather then order and wait months. These cars get under your skin.

 

Making a great car even better, love the idea of the stealth look and getting rid of the decals.
