Things to look for in 04-05 GT3

What are things to look for when purchasing an 04-05 GT3. Not the general stuff, have had Porsches in the past. Looking for GT3 specifics. All opinions welcome.

Thanks in advance

Daniel

Check if diff is in spec, oil leaks, track time, syncros maybe, RMS. I would say the biggest one that stands out in most GT3's are the weak diffs. All this can be covered by a PPI, but I'm sure you knew that.

Yeah just looking for a checklist of items. Stuff to look for when weeding out potential cars. When I buy aircraft we do the same thing. Get out a checklist of stuff that is acceptable, non-acceptable or a maybe. Want to get as much stuff cleared before proceeding with PPI.

I just bought an '04 GT3 here about 1 month ago... I think having maintenance records is very important. They seem to be bulletproof as long as they are maintained correctly. Good luck in your search! They are awesome cars! Lou

I shopped on Ebay, Autotrader, Cars.com... I stumbled on this site and kept coming back to this: https://www.6speedonline.com/forums/...rey-black.html after much comparison.

We are extremely happy with purchase. Sometime timing is everything in life... Lou
