Overpriced with underperformance means weak sales.

 

A recent issue of Evo had an interesting article on the GT2RS. Their take was that in all domains of performance, the GT2RS was superior to the Carrera GT.

What I have heard from the Porsche factory is that there will be 2 allocations of this model, the first one limited to ~500 units, and then another launch of about the same number if the first ones sell out fast.

 

Ok well if that's so then so much for "limited production"

918/CGT = truly limited. Any 911 = mass produced. Panamera/Cayanne = mass, mass produced. Very simply really.

Well still no word. Not looking good at all. A new GT3RS track car is looking better anyway. We will see I guess.

Get the 3 RS. After tracking mine a bunch, and comparing it to my GT2 that has more HP than the new 2 RS, the 3 is a way better value and is a blast to drive.

 

That's what it's looking like. My local dealer is shaking some trees with the rep. I gave them till Thursday to firm up a deal on a car or I am going to your guy.
