Interesting intake in the 2nd pic, when did Porsche start doing that?

On paper I dont think I id like red on red but in pics it really pops, personally I would do dark gray or black on red but that's me.

 

The .2 RS has new intakes on the decklid matching up to twin airboxes like the Cup cars. Supposedly that's where the 15 bhp gain comes from over the .2 GT3. There are other differences, CR is 12.2:1 and gearing.

Now the guards red is nice but I've said it before and I am working my numbers hard to swing it but if I was spec'ing an RS out I want unique. This image is tattooed in my brain.

Mexico blue / orange graphics.
Historic look fo the Gulf racing scheme. I love that scheme and keep obscessing about it.

I am in the same camp. Absolutely love the mexico blue. I've seen a gulf blue/orange GT3 997.1 on here somewhere which may grab my attention from the mexico option.

That is the nicest RS I have ever seen. Loved all the .1 colors but not down with any of .2's. That color combo have me heading for ze hills!!

$2625 for fuel costs...that cant be quite right

 

I think the RS decals would really look good with another black overlay on them or have them traced in black. Fred had a gold set overlaid on his black decals on his car and it looked outstanding.



That with the black wheels, mirrors and maybe roof and it would be perfect.

 

Decals makes car look trashy IMHO (the black accents make it look better then the original). However, I would take them off.

There is a loaded, blue with red GT3RS at Porsche of Arlington that is just beautiful. MSRP is $159K, but I think they will go lower.
