My shop hadn't done the work yet so I'm taking mine into the dealer to have it looked at. Let's let each other know what happens.

Ok its at the dealer. They heard it 5 times on our little test drive which was great. The tech thinks it might be a loose front sway bar or shock mount. My car is bone stock. I will keep everyone informed. As a side note, the new Cayenne Turbo is really really nice. The interior is a HUGE upgrade. I guess that is what the 998 interior will be like.

Appears to be bad sway bar end links. That is the early word. They are tightening them up. I will post further updates when I get the car later.

I only hear the clunk when my front axle lift is activated and going sideways up a slope. I know you don't have it...I wonder if that's normal for the ones with front axle lift.

Resolution!!!

It is not normal. I just got my car back and it is GONE. They tightened the connecting rod stabilizer. Here is the invoice. If you have that noise it is NOT normal. They think it is an error by the assemblers to tighten it properly. We will see if it stays that way.
