I will PM you Charles (fabricator) cell number -- as he really can build what you want and can alter materials to fit your budget etc...

The one you are looking at is top grade -- 321 stainless and all Burns brand collectors and mufflers (repackable) etc... clearly if you add cats the price goes up

Call and talk to Charles -- as 007DT mentioned, charles is a great guy and will be happy to discuss it with you etc..

It may seem like I am pimping him... but in all reality he is just a great guy making great product that gets real results... easy to deal with etc... check your PM

Along with PJ, Charles built a system for my 04 GT3 utilizing the OEM side exhaust exits. Sounded slightly different (quieter) from PJ's Cup center exit. No fluke in HP claims as I too realized similar HP and TQ results.

After being disappointed with the full GEMBALLA (led to believe also sold under the Cargraphics label) exhaust, Charles system was a night and day difference.

As mentioned in this thread, so satisfied that Charles just completed a new full custom system for my 07 RS that utilizes the factory sport switch. Headers, no cats, mufflers, RSR styled tips, 30LBS total weight, 30+ HP, 20+ TQ, sounds sick. I am again very happy with results. Fit and finish is what one would expect from a custom hand made exhaust!

If you are going to spend the money on an exhaust, I would highly recommend contacting Charles directly. Would not have gone back a 2nd. time for my RS if not satisfied.

FYI, not affiliated with Charles or ASP. This is a forum friendly message, not intended to pimp Charles. In a forum community, most of us are trying to cut through the BS and discover the real deal. IMHO, Charles and his products are the latter.

D.

What's the process involved regarding packing those muffler? i.e., it is easy enough to change the packing depends on track requirement? Or it is not something that can be done easily?

Just curious.. !

Assuming you are talking about mine?

It is packed with Burns (Muffler and 321 SS Manufacturer) Stainless Packing, which can alter the sound and HP, etc. It isn't too hard to do but would be a PITA to do on a regular basis... Also understand that you can have the Burns Mufflers packed with different materials to fit your overall needs from the start, but I'd say the overall design, although easy to remove, isn't fabricated to change on a regular basis.

Thanks for the feedback.. yeah, was talking about the ASP system.. !

I was thinking if it is easy enough that you can change it out for one track and take it out for another, etc. I guess that would not be the case..

That is true..

What's involved? Remove the muffler section in order to re-pack it?

Yep just take off the mufflers... The system is easier to remove than stock or really any other set-up I've had in the past.

You should check out the Fabspeed 996 GT3 Performance Package! The package includes Maxflow mufflers oval tips, sport catalytic converters, headers, air intake with BMC Filter, and ECU Reprogramming. With the ECU upgrade, you're looking at a total increase of +28 hp!

It also sounds absolutely wicked!

I was spending too much time over on the 997 GT3 thread. I know the difference between the two and thanks for catching that mistake.

I fixed it just for your listening pleasure!
