Fellow forum member "avi8tir" came in for a few more tweaks to his 2010 White GT3.

We switched it up a bit this time around and rather than spraying the standard "matte" black theme, we went with a rich satin black with a bit more luster than usual.

1) Powder Coated Factory Centerlock Wheels & Installed New Black Centerlocks
2) Mirrors Sprayed Satin Black
3) Rear Wing Blade Sprayed Satin Black

Black wing looks off. It actually gives it a 997.1RS character... which isnt bad but generally you dont want to make the car look like the previous generation... still a great looking ride no matter how you slice it.

looks good but i would add some darker tint on the windows

 

would spray the front lip and center duct to match...

 

I would have left the middle of the wing white, but still overall everything looks awesome. Looks ready for the track that's for sure.

Thanks Jason. I don't think the black wing looks off but I understand where you are coming from and respect your opinion. To each their own when it comes to customizing. But generally I think Porsche owners are free to do whatever they wish just like how you made your 997S look like a GT3.... Enjoy the weekend... and thanks again for the comments.

I think a subtle light tint all the way around would look nice but I appreciate the "tintless" look the owner went with as well

This car sees a lot of track time so he decided against it and I don't mind the black....
