GT2 RS Update!!!!
Hope this isn't a repost, but I think this was sent out today by PCNA. See you special guys in Cali for the delivery. Post up your selections.
There will be 137 examples delivered to the US. All the same day in California. In order to purchase the car, you must be approved by Porsche as to customer quality and not be a person brokering or planning to sell. Penalties happen if you do that. Included in the purchase price will be a day of Porsche instruction and car tutorial at a general delivery site in California. All buyers are to be there and get their cars. Yes, all buyers. We will get car information and track time in the car for the day. No Euro delivery on this vehicle. After the day event, all cars are packed up and delivered to each dealer so the buyer may take true delivery. Estimated date of delivery will be the first 2 weeks of February.

LOL. Me, when I'm done with mine! Save my number.
All cars are spoken for. And then some. "Approved" just means that you fill out a buyers order at the dealership. PCNA will then do research on the buyer to see that they are legit, don't have history of buying and quick selling, aren't dealers hiding, etc. I actually think they believe the car will go UP in value. I doubt that greatly, but they are acting quite "ferrari-ish" on this deal. Hope they are right.
Was that your white GT3 at PP today?

While that is a good thought, I think there are 136 other people that want the car no matter whether they pay that or not. But, it would be nice. FYI, the 245 pop is BEFORE a single option. Black paint is a $3100 option. Can you believe that? Black of all colors.

No joke. That would be funny. Hope they do it at Laguna.

Yeah, me too. I'd be more than willing to sneek my way in there just to take a look at these things up close and in action. The Monterey area seems to be a popular place for PCNA debuts/media stuff so it makes sense to be a Laguna Seca.
So, does this mean that you did get an allocation? Or are you still waiting in line with other prospective buyers?
