GT2 RS opening

Anyone know of a 2 RS still not spoken for at a dealer? I know someone that will take it. Buyer is from Dallas area. No, not me. I've already ordered mine.

I just got my order in. Besides the turbos and boost, what is the difference between GT2 RS and 08 GT2? The project manager for the Porsche GT cars says that the pistons, con rods, tranny is different. Any more specific details?

The question for me, though I can't bring myself to muster an order, is what is different about the handling. In the few reviews I've read, the handling characteristics have not been described in detail (perhaps because the power output has been so overwhelmingly impressive). But recalling the prior GT2, the handling was missing the edge that was present in the same years GT3 and surely the new GT3 is even better. Has anyone read a review that focuses on the handling capabilities of the new model?

sometimes i wonder what ICs GT2RS is using...997,1TT and GT2 shared the same ones,so hopefully GT2RS should have something better to keep up to 620hp...I still havent found any piwis database with GT2rs model in range to check it out...Anyone?

Check out September 2010 Excellence article for the GT2RS, the engine is the same 3.6 liter block as the last GT cars, new intercoolers, new turbochargers and new pistons. The article reports it's lap time around Nurburgring was 7 minutes, 18 seconds so I guess the handling is dialed in. It stated that to have that time the car was hitting well over 186mph on the main straight. Zero to 100mph in 6.8 seconds.

Chris Harris loved it in his review there.
