GT3 vs. GT2 vs. GT... RS even? What's the diff?
#46
A couple of other things to keep in mind the GT2/3 (and their respective RS versions) are A LOT less forgiving than the TT. If you are going to modify the car you buy, I would go with a TT and not the S as you will be replacing those more expensive parts from the S.
Also, the tires that the GT2/3 and their respective RS versions run are "super" extreme summer tires. Barely rated for rain and definitely not in snow. Also, when the outside temperature falls to 50 or below these tires become incredibly slippery.
On a TT, however, you can throw on a set of snow tires and go rallying :-) No kidding. In my opinion drive or get a ride in as many of them as you can and keep in mind that you can always upgrade a TT to be as extreme as you want but it will be damn near impossible and sacrilige to take a GT2/3 and make is less extreme.
Just my 2 cents.
Lastly, if you get a chance to drive a Gallardo Superleggero go for it. It is night an day different than a Porsche but sweet nonetheless.
