You guys with centerlocks need to get your nuts torqued!!!

I have personally been thinking about a 997.2 GT3/GT3 RS for a while now and have seriously considered swapping out the center lock hubs for standard five lug hubs. The conversion holds some serious appeal and peace of mind given how often I am working on my own car.
The conversion has to be cheaper than going from a five lug hub to center lock.

I have taken my car to the track and pushed it hard at Willow Springs and the streets of Willow on four separate day events. Taken on and off a set of BBS for the days use. I have had no issues but have not had the time to have the dealer inspect mine yet. Mine have the writing the torque spec on the ring. Mainly its a grease thing to be sure the rim seats properly on the tapered inner and outer rings of the hub and center nut extension. Another funny thing is the dust caps will likely dislodge during track use anyway due to all the flexing of the wheel. The other issue on the wheels is if Porsche would have trusted the customers to put right and left hand threaded nuts on the hubs this over torquing would not be necessary to get the nuts on one side of the car from backing out.
