Swiss made is infamous around these parts
Noise at 2000-2200RPM

It's getting colder these days here in Switzerland. So I drive my GT3 as much as I can before I have to shut it down till next springtime.
I bought the GT3 approx. 5 months ago. It's a 997.1 GT3 and it has approx. 11k miles. Since the first drive I've always noticed a slight nois at lower RPM. When driving at 2000-2200RPM and not accelerating nor motor-braking I hear a slight grinding / whining / ratteling noise. As soon as I start accelerating it stops. On higher RPM I've never noticed a similar noise. I can't tell if the noise is from the gear or from the camshaft drive chain.
Actually I'm not too worried about it but I was wondering if it's normal and if your cars do the same.
Can anyone explain the reason for this noise?

Thanks a lot!

you are lugging the motor at that rpm and that could be the problem...try to keep the rpm's closer to 3k rpm...put in the clutch if the noise goes away it is in the drivetrain..could be the lsd...these cars make lots of noises
