Fixing to start tracking my 2010 GT3. I have used Hoosier R6's on my RS and also my GT2, but I am wondering what size tires some guys use on the standard GT3 in the Hoosier R6. Max size, best size, etc. Any different opinions and combo's?

 

Best R6 combo on GT3 as it keeps front /rear ratio about the same as stock is :
R 315/30/18
F 245/35/18

 

I assume Hoosier makes the same size in 19. I know they do on the 245 because that's what I ran on my RS. They don't make a 19 in the 305, which is the stock height. FYI, the RS tires are different than GT3. I'm sure you know that. I ran the 325's on the rear of my RS. Don't think that size fits the GT3.

 

I didn't run 19" on my 07 GT3 nor '10 RS currently (more tire choices in 18"). Issue is on fronts they only make a 235 and 265 and rears a 315 or 325. 235 is too small. NJ-GT (Rennlist) stuffed a 265 up front and can probably comment over there more on how he liked it (lots of threads on this stuff). On the RS I run 255/35/18 and 335/30/18s. Here's part of the hoosier catalog (page 6). Two key things is 1) make sure they fit in the wheel housing, 2) keep the ratio of front to rear as close to stock (rolling diameter less important), so ABS doesn't get confused.

if u shopped around, they are not any more expensive than the competition, not by much anyways.
