Talking Veterans day @ Thunderhill

I had a blast with our five fellow forum members and their GT3/RS celebrating veterans day chasing each other at Thunderhill. It was a treat to have Johannes van Overbeek and company on the track with their spec 911 - one fast company!

My RS bare an US air force logo to honor my favorite maverick flying tiger outfit. Here is a shout out to all veterans

Here is a video of our T3/RS train and chasing Johannes van Overbeek along with couple pictures from the event.

Another video chasing Z06. I was dead tired ... last session of the day and alot of mistake

*video will be up soon ... youtube promised lol*

mikymu with his death ray helmet lol

Collection of GT3/RS

996FLT6's smart car

Yes, that smart car was driven by none other than 996flt6. His 996 GT3 is being stripped for full cage. He had to come to the track for some much needed high

Yes, we should get an offical GT3 challenge going next year at driver eduction events and have 10+ GT3/RS out in advance group each time. Should we coin the term mikymoot GT3 challenge?

As a (hopefully) future GT3 owner it was awesome watching you guys out there. Great sounding and beautiful cars everywhere! I made sure that when I did get a chance to run a few laps in the Advanced Group that I let anything by that had a wing or was green. I was hoping to have more time to socialize with everyone but I was helping a friend out in the Novice/Intermediate group. Next year I'll be sure to pick your brains on the fastest way around T-Hill. It was great meeting you again and thanks for the heads up on this event. Worth every penny!

Yes. Shame on you! Shame, I say!

Thanks for posting your video, 24Chromium. I was the guy who introduced himself to you looking for a ride in your car. As stated to Mikymu above, I blame my kindness to my buddy () which kept me from being available when you were heading out for your sessions. Thanks again anyway for answering all my questions and agreeing to let me hear and feel a 2010 GT3 on the track. Maybe next time. Oh, and in the future if you ever want to sell.... PM me!

You guys remind me of my buddies and I, we have been called a Porsche Train by some other unsuspecting Mazda RX8 driver, and now run our own track days under that name.

Great videos.
