Homestead DE video
Here's my fastest lap from last weekends DE event at Homestead With all the seat/harness, brake and wheel/tire upgrades and more experience I was able to knock off 4 seconds from my best lap in May and be able to do 1:42 secs.
Here's the video of the fastest lap:

Would appreciate comments/advice for getting better and faster. Thank you!

You lines seem very good, but you it sounds like you are hesitant getting on the throttle (touch to see just from sound, there's no rpm to see) and you're getting off the throttle/coasting too early getting into 1 and 10 (the ones you need ***** :-))

and more entertaining but slower

You're right, those turns are fast and I don't feel so confident, I feel like the front will push if I go any faster. I need more grip in the front, I will be going to Champion Motorsport tomorrow and get the front dialed in more.
Also my brake pedal was feeling mushy so I wasn't relying on the brakes much either... (I'll get the brakes flushed as well)
I also just started to drive without PSM so I don't want to drive 100%

I am not familiar with the track and without data overlay, it is hard to say what you are doing with the pedals, but it is an entertaining video to watch
Do the Mk I GT3s have PSM or just TC?

Here's the track map
Unfortunately I didn't have the roll bar mount for the camera, I just got it last week. Should have the new video this week!
I believe .1 GT3s only has PSM...

I would have to agree with the first response.
(coming from alot of track time at homestead including a 12 hours of homestead in a ST prepped RX-8)
I just think you need to continue getting faster at your own pace. Lines look good, just how aggressive to get on the throttle and also when you are getting off and coasting into 1 and 10.
10 being tricky. There is a bump right at apex that if you get wrong your going off. With that said you can carry much more speed through there.
Coming out of 1 make sure you are straight before getting hard on the brakes. Same here alot more speed can be carried through here as well.
Other than that take your time get more comfortable and you will see the lap times drop some more.

I agree with you guys, I had a lot changed on the car recently including an LSD (open diff comes from factory standard on a S ) Plus I'm learning to drive without the electronic nannies to correct my mistakes. So there is a lot I'm trying to adjust...
I'll get there in time, I've only got 5 days at Homestead so far (and about 15 days of DEs total in my life )

Take one step at a time. Don't try to change everything at once. You want to see progress with every change you make. Your lap times will fall with experience.

Yeah, it'll happen over time... I'm still trying to get used to this new setup. Should be kicking some a$$ soon!

As long as you're down here I'd suggest doing Sebring as well. It's a fast and fun track!
Homestead and Sebring are so much fun. I never really liked PBIR, just feels too slow

Thanks, I'm going there again this weekend. I will post some videos from the interior as well
